Free Microchips & Registration

We offer free microchipping and registration for your pet at our shelter. Stop by our Matteson Resource Center (Suite B, 21800 Central Avenue) from 10 am to 4 pm with your pet to receive this offer!

Why Is Microchipping Your Pet Important?

● 1 in 3 family pets will get lost● Microchipped dogs are more than twice as likely to be returned to their owners ● Microchipped cats are more than 20 times as likely to be returned to their owners.
When a microchipped pet isn't returned home, it is usually due to incorrect or missing owner information. Be sure to check that your pet's microchip information is up to date and always update it when you move or change a phone number (stats show only 6 out of 10 microchips are registered)

"Pit'' Stop
