Program Underwriting

SSHS is a premier animal shelter, and your animal resource center for Chicago's south suburbs, and beyond. The South Suburban Humane Society takes a proactive stance towards animal welfare, by rescuing pets in need of shelter, finding permanent homes and temporary foster care, offering low-cost services and pet products, and providing humane education and outreach for the surrounding community.
